Abstract
Growth regulators were used to induce parthenocarpic fruits of tomato, apple and pear having different endogenous hormone concentrations.
These were then used to study whether the concentration and/ or the diffusion of certain hormones have an effect on fruit growth, translocation of nutrients and fruit drop.
