Abstract
Alar at 500 to 3500 ppm applied to mid-shoot leaves of Starkspur Golden Delicious MM.106 affected mineral composition only when applied at the time of maximum growth rate. 500, 1000 And 2000 ppm induced more K and less Ca, Fe and Mn than in the control.
There were no significant differences resulting from different rates of application, and interactions between Alar concentrations and sampling dates were also not significant.
