Abstract
Three between ridge spacings of 50, 60 and 70 cm; 1 and 3 rows per ridge and in-row spacing of 5, 10 and 15 cm were compared for two seasons.
Between ridge spacings did not affect yield or yield components in any respect.
Increasing number of rows per ridge increased total yield and decreased average bulb weights, percent large bulbs, doubles and bolters.
Widening in-row spacings decreased total yield, but increased average bulb weight, percent large bulbs, doubles and bolting incidence.
