Abstract
Studying ecophysiological regulation of tropan alkaloids production, we show sensibility of Datura species to stress conditions and bacterial infection (crown-gall). Isolated organs of australian Duboisia myoporoides R.Br. allow physiological studies of alkaloid regulation.
Plants are cultivated under controlled conditions in chambers of the Phytotron of C.N.R.S. in Gif-sur-Yvette, in which climatic parameters are well known.
