ALTERATION IN COMPOSITIONAL CHARACTER OF POPPY CHEMOTAXA AFFECTED BY DIFFERENT LIGHT AND TEPERATURE CONDITIONS

Abstract
The infraspecific chemical system of poppy was revaluated from ecological biochemical point of view.
Cultivars selected in respect of their chemical and physiological characteristics were studied under phytotron conditions.
On the basis of results the overall biosynthesis of alkaloids becomes 2–3 times more intensive at higher temperatures /up to 26°C/ and more intensive illuminations /up to 2.4 – 3.2 x 104 lux/. This intensification of biosynthesis appears at all investigated cultivars.
Proportion shift of components results both in the case of main alkaloid types /morphinane, phtalideisoquinoline, benzylisoquinoline/ and in the case of individual alkaloids /morphine, codeine, thebaine/ already chemotaxonomic differences.
In the main type differentiation the importance of external factors on stereospecific enzyme reaction of reticuline, while in the case of individual alkaloids the presence of different demethylation character /promoted or restricted type/ and their ecological regulation is suggested.
