Abstract
Organic substrate receptivity to damping off diseases caused by Pythium and Rhizoctonia solani is determined by time evolution of soil infectivity measured by bioassays.
Receptivity of various substrates depends on substrate constitution, mixture compounding, and the pathogen involved.
Suppressive factor has been transmitted to substrates by incorporation of naturally suppressive soils to Pythium spp. or Rhizoctonia solani.
