Abstract
The relationship between the air temperature during the night and the root temperature has a great influence on the mineral salt absorption in tomato root.
When the global radiation is low and the air night temperature is too high, the quantity of sugars that reach the roots becomes very low.
It follows that the uptake of mineral nutrients is reduced and the growth of Tomato is shortened.
