Abstract
Two Plantosan 4D fertilizer levels were added at three physically characterized substrates to know Dieffenbachia growth response.
It was showed significant differences between slow fertilizer level and media.
It was showed significant differences between slow fertilizer level and media.
Commercial advantages on plant hight and size leaf have been found on bark:peat media and more branched plants were obtained on peat:perlite.
The high level of fertilizer moves to a decrease on root, stems and leaves growth evaluated on metric and weight parameters.
This effect can be probable atributed to the presence of toxic compounds, derived from urea formaldehyde decomposition.
This growth damage decreased in substrats with high % air content (polyestyrene:peat mix).
