Abstract
In most cases of decline in nurseries, especially in containers, species belonging to the genus Cylindrocarpon, in particular C. destructans, are isolated.
The accurate role of these fungi towards plants is not yet clearly established.
A first trial consisting in inoculations carried out on plants obtained in an axenic medium has not shown off any pathogenicity power of the experimented isolates.
