Grape processing traceability and wine quality obtained in the Republic of Moldova Codru wine-growing region

Abstract
The wine quality and authenticity are in close correlation with the ecological and the technological factors of growing and processing grapes.
When ensuring the traceability for grape cultivation and wine production, one contributes to maintaining the quality management system.
The Wine Register was created to increase the wine products competitiveness on the national and international markets.
This is an IT system that helps systematizing data on vine areas and wineries, and which contains detailed information about the grape (areas, cultivars) and wine (stocks of wines) producers in the Republic of Moldova.
The article presents the results of the analysis as to the ecological conditions and the wine quality obtained from the main producers of the Codru wine region.
Through the organoleptic testing of the wine production of 2023 vintage year, the most competitive wine lots were evidenced.
