Abstract
In general, the development of a model allows the comparison of real data with a proposed process.
This modeling could also give the possibility of making diagnoses, design strategies, proposals for improvements, finding lines of research, and finally making recommendations in real time.
Any production model of a crop must start by initially knowing the potential productive capacity of the plant and the factors that affect it.
Few studies have been carried out for the parametrization of the photosynthetic model based on Farquhar et al. (1980) in Cannabis sativa, especially in non-industrial cultivars.
The parameters needed by the model (Vcmax, Jmax, TPU, Rd) were obtained from different experiments carried out at Las Torres Centre (IFAPA) located in Seville, Spain.
In the study, foliar An/Ci and An/PAR curves were measured in greenhouse conditions to analyze the photosynthetic behavior of some of the cultivars registered by Phytoplant Research S.L.U. The behavior of the model in these conditions has been studied and the data from the model have been compared with real data obtained under specific greenhouse conditions.
The obtained fits have shown a high global R2. The model fit depends on the cultivar and phenological stage of the plant.
