Abstract
Early yield of Macadamia (Macadamia integrifolia) cultivars provides some indication of the expected performance of the different cultivars at each location.
Most cultivars produced nuts at Kauai and Kainalu, Kona after being planted three years in the field.
Early yields of cultivars varied depending on location, with ‘Makai’ producing 23.1 kg/tree at Kainalu which is the best location in Hawaii for macadamia.
