Abstract
In this paper eighteen autochthonous pear cultivars in the Timocka Krajina region (East Serbia) were investigated.
Ten of them were summer ripening time, seven winters and one cultivar between summer and autumn ripening time.
Summer cultivars maturing from the end of June-beginning of July (Vidovka) till the end of August (Kakavac). Fruit mass of summer cultivars varied from 15 g (Vidovka) to 170 g (Karamanka). Winter cultivars are picked in October and have different storage time in normal conditions.
Variability of fruit mass in winter cultivars was expressed from 30 g (Takusa) to 400 g (Marina).
