Abstract
Secondary metabolites play an important role in plant resistance to insects.
A screening of ethanolic crude and fractionated extracts of Baccharis genistelloides revealed potential insecticidal activity against Rhyzopertha dominica, Tribolium castaneum, and Sitophilus zeamais in the contact and/or ingestion bioassay.
