Abstract
After the occurence of the Ph. capsici on peppers (Capsicum annuum L.) in greenhouses, the watering around the root neck of the plants with solution of various compounds for control of this disease has failed to succeed.
Therefore, the control of this disease has to begin already during the growing of seedlings to prevent its penetration into the greenhouses through infected plants.
For this purpose 9 and 6 days before planting every single plant is watered with 50 ml of solution of 0.2% Difolatan, or 0.2 % Micodifol.
During the transplanting again is watered with solution of Difolatan in a rate of 0.8–1.0 g.ai/m2. After transplanting the watering with Difolatan is repeated at an interval of 26 to 28 days.
