Abstract
This study has evaluated species diversity in the genus Rosa in the North-eastern Anatolia ecoregion [EKO4] in Turkey, based on regional distribution, need for taxa protection according to the IUCN Red Data Book, and landscape characteristics.
Data used in the study were obtained from Flora of Turkey vol. 4, from TUBIVES and from the Red Data Book for Turkish Plants.
As a result, a total of 11 Rosa taxa including 3 subordinate taxa were mapped based on geographical distribution and Daviss square system in the EKO4.
