Abstract
A systems approach to greenhouse climate research is outlined.
A model, based on the heat and water vapour balances in a compartimented greenhouse is described.
The model is presented in bond graph notation to have a clear insight in the physical structure of the model and to simulate it in an easy way on a minicomputer.
The application of models in a hierarchical control system configuration is discussed.
