Abstract
Single node cuttings of eight rose cultivars were tested for their ability to root.
Rooting responses differed among cultivars and auxin concentration but little variation was observed among three auxin carriers.
Rooting response of nodes distal to the flower bud also varied with cultivars.
No toxic response was observed using alcohol as the auxin carrier.
