Abstract
These trials showed the successful fall planting of ‘In field-propagated’ peach hardwood cuttings and the promising results obtained with cuttings precalloused in polyethylene bags before planting.
In case of transplant, cutting conditions affected field survival.
To establish an orchard from ‘In field’ planting, basal cuttings are preferable and at least 4 cuttings per ‘nest’ should be used for the cv. ‘Bicentennial’.
