Abstract
The trial series show that it is possible to control weeds while establishing a black currant crop from unrooted cuttings by using the following herbicides: dichlobenil, diuron, propyzamide, simazine or terbuthylazin.
One of the trial series shows that the best weed control was obtained by using a combination of herbicides, where at least one them has the effect as foliage herbicide.

One single year’s results show that the grain herbicides methabenzthiazuron or pendimethalin could be used without hurting the black currant cuttings when the cuttings are planted as an intercrop in barley or wheat.
