Abstract
Thirty-three raspberry genotypes were evaluated in controlled environment chambers for their reaction to Erwinia amylovora (Burr.) Winslow et al. after wound inoculation.
Symptoms appeared after 6 days in susceptible genotypes and consisted of necrosis and bacterial ooze.
Area under the disease severity progress curve was used to quantify disease.
Several primocane-fruiting genotypes proved to be highly resistant to fire blight.
