Abstract
This study contains the results of a research aimed at individualizing the economic and structural characteristics of Sicilian wine productions.
In this context, particular attention was paid to quality wine productions by defining the consistency and the main characteristics of the supply.
This research also includes a trend analysis of consumers demand concerning the different typologies of wines and the observation of quality wine price trends carried out over the GDO sector and to the specialized one in the urban area of Catania.
