Abstract
The twospotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae was established on the fruiting canes of Rubus idaeus during the spring of 1986 and 1988. Mite levels on the fruiting canes were as high as 300/leaflet, or 7 300 accumulated mite-days.
Although yield could be estimated with a standard error of ± 5%, no reductions in yield were detected as a function of mite-days.
