Abstract
A ten year study of the influence of pre-blossom temperatures, in the warm climate conditions of the experimental area, on the percentage of double kerneled almond fruits, showed a negative correlation between the percentage of fruits with double kernel and mean temperatures during the pre-blossom months.

The result of the experiment reveal the important influence of pre-blossom temperatures on the ovule viability.
