Abstract
The effect of pollenizer distance on fruit set and number of seeds per fruit was investigated in apple cvs Jonathan, Golden Delicious and Starking.
Pollinizer distance varied between 5 and 80 meters.
There was only open pollination.
The cultivars did not behave similarly.
There was a significant effect of pollinizer distance on fruit set at 30 days after petal fall and at harvest in Golden Delicious and Starking.
No significant differences were recorded for Jonathan.
