Abstract
The age, viz. the state of the vine, as determined by the age, is one of the most important factors having bearing on the entire process of production.
It is a difficult task to give a true account of the change of the vine as determined by its age, especially in the long run.
When establishing economic policy or planning concepts, it is not possible to base our considerations upon inadequate or missing knowledge of the change of the vine as determined by its age.
The significance of the subject justifies, however, the scientific examination of the age and lifetime of the vine.
