Abstract
Very rapid multiplication of strawberry can be achieved using a Broad Spectrum combination of medium concentration of minerals, growth factors and sucrose, with 1.56μM IAA and 50μM kinetin.
The cultures are incubated in the dark at 25°C for the multiplication phase and are then transferred to 12h light/12h dark incubation at 25°C for development of leaves and roots.

The results of omission type experiments with various constituents of the medium are described, including experiments with auxins, cytokinins and different photoperiods.
