Abstract
Investigations on regeneration potential involved different fragments at the stage of fully developed leaf blade, cut from young shoots of Peperomia scandens leaves in vitro.
It has been stated that though all the parts investigated are able to regenerate the entire plants.
The main regeneration zone comprises the leaf blade basis and the petiole.
Shoots and roots on the isolated fragment developed independently from one another.
Induction of organogenesis was conditioned by adding to the basic medium MS growth substances.
NAA in complex with kinetin appeared to be the most effective.
Summer and spring have been found to be the most advantageous seasons for taking explantants from Peperomia scandena leaves.
