INFLUENCE OF ADAPTATION SUBSTRATES ON MORPHOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT OF RASPBERRY PLANTLETS DURING ACCLIMATIZATION EX VITRO

Abstract
Plants acclimatization to ex vitro conditions is very stressful stage of plants micropropagation.
Plants have to be adapted to new water, nutritious and light conditions as well as to pathogen obligations.
In this work we present a method of raspberry plantlets acclimatization that yields high survival rates, based on application an appropriate substrate for adaptation.
Several substrates were tested: a mix of peat and sand (3:1), perlite, BIONA-112 and a mix of BIONA-112: perlite (1:2). Artificial ion exchange substrate (BIONA-112) was developed in the Institute of Physics/Organic Chemistry of National Academy of Science of Belarus.
The results of our experiment demonstrated high efficiency of ion exchange substrate application for raspberry plants adaptation without previous stage of in vitro rootage.
The post-influence effect of ion exchange substrate on successful adaptation was noted.
Plants rooted ex vitro on BIONA-112 exceed control plants by morphological parameters.
The main advantage of not rooted plants adaptation is two month time gain.
