Abstract
This paper has been presented as an introduction to the poster session E. The combination of conventional feedback control and feedforward control is discussed.
For feedback control adaptive control algorithms are used as there are: self tuning regulators and model reference adaptive systems.
For feedforward control black box models and models based on heat balances with an online adaption of the parameters are suitable.
The combination of feedback and feedforward control will increase the stability of the control loop and the accuracy of control.
The frequency of adjustments of the actuators will be reduced.
