Abstract
A system was developed to test greenhouse microcomputer controllers based on the same basic concept as Part 1. Controllers are, namely, connected with another microcomputer instead of being installed in real greenhouses and exchange informations on climate conditions inside and outside an imaginary greenhouse and control signals with the microcomputer so that controllers might behave as if they were installed in real greenhouses.
An example of tests using this system revealed that this system can be used in various situations: checking a controller before installation, improving a controller or developing a new one, etc.
As Part 2, emphasis was put on the control of a heater and thermal screens.
