Abstract
In this study Euphorbia fulgens was given a post-harvest treatment in order to protect the flower against the effects of ethylene.

A treatment with silver thiosulphate reduced the effects of ethylene.
When a combination of growth regulators was used the vase life increased.
The combination of growth regulators and silver thiosulphate seems to have a cumulative effect on the extension of the longevity.
