Abstract
Caused by the alternating weather of Hungary the water requirement of plants, among them of vegetable crops were satisfied annually in a different way.
In accordance with this, in a bigger part of years more or less water supply is necessary, in other years the natural rainfall is enough for the development of a high yield; as for other yields, especially the yield of our warmth-requiring vegetable plants is hindered by the lower temperature or another effect.
