Abstract
Production of Thompson Seedless table grapes involves GA3 application, resulting in higher berry drop.
Studies in Chile showed that berry drop, contravening the accepted belief, does not increase by prolonging storage.
Replacing GA3 by Promalin has a similar effect on berry growth, but reduces berry drop.
GA4 resulted also in less berry drop than GA3 but induced less berry growth.
