Abstract
Nine varieties of black currants are tested in the experimental fields at Weinsberg, Germany.
The experiment involves various evaluation parameters for characterizing the varieties.
A model with value numbers is used to find out the most important parameter.
In Baden-Württemberg yield, a late blossom period and mildew resistance are important.
After two years of research the varieties ‘Titania’, ‘Ben Sarek’ and ‘Ceres’ seem to be interesting.
