Abstract
In the year 1975 and 1976 the five varieties ‘Stanley’, ‘Bluefre’, ‘Tuleu Gras’, ‘Tuleu Timpuriu’ and ‘Montfort’ were planted on different types of Myrobalan and on Marianna plum.
The evaluations were made according to eleven different aspects for each variety and rootstocks.
Most important of the results is the negative relation between sharka-virus symptoms and the rate of shoot growing.
The authors therefore suppose, that in the orchards at Cegled sharka virus effected firstly the vegetative productivity of trees.
The best combinations in the trials according the eleven aspects were the following. ‘Stanley’ and ‘Montfort’ on Myrobalan C. 174. ‘Bluefre’ and ‘Tuleu Gras’ on Myrobalan B and ‘Tuleu Timpuriu’ on Myrobalan C. 1273.
