Abstract
The theory of fruit storage is highly developed in Hungary (Sass, 1993), but storage capacities are at a low technical and technological level.
This article analyses the current problems of fruit storage in Hungary and, using a systems approach, determines the most important directions for improving the economic efficiency of storage.
