Abstract
A new PVC bi-oriented corrugated rigid sheet was studied.
Its radiometric, thermal and climatic properties were compared with glass and PE film.
Analysis of the radiometric data showed a relative improvement by in 5% PAR transmittance.
Analysis of the thermal flux densities exchanged by the covers suggested an "ideal" PVC sheet whose low emissivity should produce a 13% reduction of its heat transfer coefficient and a 21% reduction of the annual heat load.
