Abstract
In this study two standard carnations cultivars, cv.
Aurigo, Calypso, and one spray variety cv.
Excuisite, were planted 6 times at 2 month intervals in Yalova, in a polyethylene greenhouse.
Total flower yield and the distribution of year-round yield were examined for each planting time.
The maximum total yield for the standard varieties was obtained from the January and September plantings, while the May planting gave the highest total yield for the spray variety cv.
Excuisite.
January and September were found to be the best planting times for the standard varieties while May was best for the spray variety.
The distribution of the year-round yields for each planting time were similar.
