Abstract
A sample of 82 progenies of an intraspecific controlled cross of walnut (Juglans regia L. Juglans regia L.) was analysed for genetic map construction based on RAPD and isozyme markers. Among 400 primers screened, 193 RAPD markers, segregating in the 1:1 ratio in the progeny (pseudo testcross configuration), were selected. Isozyme markers were appropriately coded in order to pool them with the RAPD data. Maternal and paternal groups of linkage were detected using the MAPMAKER software.
