Abstract
Aromatic and medicinal plant cultivation includes two types of biological research: the ecological and the genetical one.
We have to enumerate all new ecological observations for aromatic and medicinal plant cultivation in areas.
We have arrived new experiences in cultivating our plants in different natural as well as artificial conditions.

The genetical field of work extends to newly introduced plant species in cultivation and new varieties as well.
We have to include here the new results by selection and by seed growing just as by preserving of aromatic and medicinal plant varieties.
Since last meeting at the 2nd Symposium held in Budapest,1979, we have had very interesting conferences all over the world.
We believe to have achieved all necessary conditions to became an autonomous Section of ISHS.
