Abstract
A survey of the occurrence of alkaloids in Catalonia plants has been made.
Approximately 250 botanical collections were made, those representing 214 species of vascular plants distributed in 170 genera and 66 families.
The plant extracts were tested for the presence of alkaloids with alkaloid-precipitating reactions, titration and TLC. In this paper only the species not previously investigated for alkaloids are reported.
