Abstract
The relative hight of furocumarines in parsnip seeds caused the interest in cultivation of this plant for seed production as a source of plant medicine.

The aim of this work was to analyse of morphological and chemical defferentiation in order to obtain the plants with high mass of seeds and content of active ingrediens.

37 populations and varietes coming from different regions of Europe were analysed.
They are characterized by strong variability of seeds crop, advantagues arrangement of inflorescences, resistance to diseases and content of furocoumarines.

For phytochemical evaluation the method of separation and identification of furocoumarines from seeds with TCL-method was adopted.
