Abstract
Experiences were made in smoke-tree growing to establish basic materials in Hungary for producing tannin.
According to the results of experiences in a growing area of 2.20 + 0.50 x 0.50 m the halflignified sprouts can be harvested with silocombines of "Hesston" type, and the quantity of the obtained tannin can be as high as 560 kg per hectare.
