Abstract
After elaboration of the basic technology of chamomile cultivation by research workers in Hungary /Kerekes,1969/ and abroad /Golcz et al., 1970, Heeger, 1956, Pisarek, 1959/, during the last 10 years experimental work in Hungary aimed at developing the methods of chamomile monoculture under large-scale farming conditions /Sváb, 1978, Sváb, 1979/. These experimentations resulted a remarkable progress in respect of varieties, weed control and mechanized harvesting of this crop.
