Abstract
Two beds of ‘Royalty’ roses were warmed with 33°C water flowing through polyethylene tubing at a depth of 25 cm below the bed surface.
The total number of roses cut during a 15 month period following planting were significantly higher than the number of roses harvested from adjacent unheated beds.
