Abstract
This paper presents a procedure for designing a solar greenhouse and associated energy conservation components, using the greenhouse itself as a solar collector.
A greenhouse at the CSIRO Centre for Irrigation Research is described and its performance and cost effectiveness is analysed.
Comparison is made with simulated performance of similar greenhouses theoretically situated at Bunbury, Western Australia and Hamburg, Federal Republic of Germany.
