Abstract
In this study the principles and equipment for artificial pollination have been studied in pistachio orchards where the lack of pollen and the difference in maturity periods of the male and female flowers exist.

Corn starch, rice flour, soft and hard wheat flour have been tried as blending materials for pistachio pollen in artificial pollination.
Soft wheat flour and durum wheat flour from these blending materials can be used successfully.

There was no statistical difference between the artificial pollination made by motorized duster and cotton bag, but according to the laboratory tests, if cotton bag must be used for this purpose, the dosage of the pollen mix should be placed in the bag separately for each tree.

The successful results were obtained from the mixtures with 1% pollen concentrations.

Artificial pollination made during the 1% and 40% blooming stages of female trees gave sufficient results.
