Abstract
This research was conducted at Gaziantep Pistachio Research Institute from 1976 to 1993. The varieties of Uzun, Siirt, Ohadi were analyzed for profitability quality, development and productivity under intensive conditions.
The results demonstrated stem circumference and the tree length of Siirt and Uzun varieties developed best where as annual shoot length of the Ohadi grew best.

Analyzing the yield of dry hulled nuts of the last 5 years, and except for 1991. Some differences were observed among varieties.

The largest yields per 1 da. were obtained from the Ohadi (223 kg/da) and Siirt varieties (300 kg/da) whereas the least amount was obtained from Uzun, Siirt and Ohadi fruited 3 years earlier.

The 100 nut weight, kernel ratio and split ratio were best for the Ohadi and Siirt varieties and Uzun the lowest.

The length thickness and width of Ohadi and Siirt varieties were better than that of Uzun.
No differences were found in protein and fat ratios of the three varieties.
We earned 10.784.725 TL/da from Uzun variety, 9.090.780.-TL/da from Ohadi and 15.560.780.TL/da from Siirt varieties.
Therefore the best income was obtained from the Siirt variety.
There were no differences in income between Ohadi and Uzun varieties.
