Abstract
Many years efforts in creating determinant tomato varieties appropriate for two purposes processing and fresh consumption have resulted in the varieties Yolddjik and Tracy.
They have higher yields and better quality than the variety used widely in this region, Heinz 1370 variety.
Yoldjik has a potential yield of 70 t/ha and has a characteristic determinant stem of about 65 cm and a compact habitus.
The fruits are large with an average 129 g fruit weight and 4 – 5 chambers, flattened and uniform in color.
They are very tasty with 5.3 % of dry matter.

Tracy variety is high yielding with a capacity of 100 t/ha, dense sowing, very short stem (about 45 cm) with bushy appearance and short branches which remain tight for a long period.
The fruits are large (on average 135 g) round in shape with 4 – 5 chambers, and without a green zone.
Tasty, with 4.8 % dry matter and appropriate for transportation.
